Anything Franny Choi immediately gets added to the TBR, but this one was an absolute standout. Choi asks the questions of who is allowed humanity, and why do cyborgs, robots, humanoid AI and the like often bear the face of Asian femmes? What does that say about us as a society, and how do our modern fears of technology relate to the fear of the "other"?

Just an excellent read and especially enjoyable as an audiobook.
