The opposite of road rage
Recommended by Catherine Davis
When someone in front of me is driving below the speed limit I imagine they have their granny in the back seat with a birthday cake on her lap. You never know.

This is the best.

Love this. Have you read David Foster's commencement speech, This Is Water?
@catherinedavis
No. Tell me more please.
@christinec
Very similar sentiments to what you've so sweetly expressed here. https://fs.blog/david-foster-wallace-this-is-wa...

Oh my gosh - I do the same! Well almost :) I will feel myself getting annoyed and then will think “well maybe they have a newborn baby in the car” or “maybe they have a birthday or wedding cake in there” :)

I always say they’re headed to the hospital because a baby is on the way 😂

Have you read This is Water? It reminds me of DFW famous commencement speech.
@catherinedavis
No. Thank you! I’ll check it out.
@paulhansen
One of my recs! I will never not spread the DFW gospel
@dylaryduff
I adore this <3
@drkat
I love this. However, sometimes? When people cut me off, are speeding, etc., I give them a one finger gesture - a thumbs down. It is AMAZING! They don’t get mad at you like the other finger gesture, and it makes me laugh so hard to do.
@katevee
If you didn’t win rec of the week for this, you got robbed. Brilliant
@catherinedavis
I did not! But thank you.
