live butterfly garden

when our nanny first recommended this, we were like...no way that's gonna work, but alright dawg, let's give it a shot. cut to a week later, we're all RIVETED by the butterfly garden that has emerged in our living room.

there's seven of them flapping around in there right now!! and we get to release them into the garden later this week!? not even paw patrol could command this much attention from my toddler, let alone our household. we are one and done, but I have to imagine the level of excitement from watching these tiny critters emerge into beautiful butterflies only usually comes from having a second child, but without the sleeplessness.
