I have a 2 year old and needed a non-breakable dishware option that wasn't plastic and wasn't ugly. We've had these stainless steel plates for close to a year and they've worn like dream. Dishwasher safe too! Only downside is that they're (obviously) not microwave safe, but it's worth it to avoid microplastics. (I also have these bowls and these cups)

what flatware do you use with these? i might just be sensitive to sound but metal on metal would bother me

my daughter uses metal silverware--the few times she's tried to scrape her utensils it wasn't fun sonically but she's learned!
