Get allergy testing

A friend thought he had sleep apnea and snored badly - but when he did a sleep study, they also checked for allergies and turns out it was a treatable grass allergy that was inflaming his nasal passages, causing the snoring. In his 40s, never had any other symptoms of the allergy.
