Lokrum: A literally perfect half-day trip by ferry from Dubrovnik. Lokrum is a little island, not far away, with the most beautiful beaches. Take a swimsuit.

Heritage Croatian Food: Tiny (like, 5 chairs tiny)  restaurant with snacks and sandwiches highlighting regional ingredients from small producers around Croatia. Some of the best food we had in Zagreb. You can get food to go or make a reservation ahead of time if you want to snag one of the few seats

Britanski Trg Flea Market: If you’re in Zagreb on a Sunday definitely worth checking out the flea market in Britanski Trg, lots of beautiful jewelry/crochet/embroidered linens. I did find that almost everything else in the city is closed on Sundays, something I wasn’t aware of in advance.
