A poem that has stuck with me for the sustained dry humor and how the story unfolds, from the incongruous ponytail and philosophizing to the zinger at the end. As a bonus, I get a whiff of classic country music with the whiskey and takes on "I ain't here for a long time, here for a good time" and "I've been playin' possum / I've been a-watchin' you."
