I am sitting down working at my computer many, many hours out of the day, and my body feels it.
Well, leave it to a handful of neck spasms and a chronically-bothersome lower back to kick me into gear on improving my working setup.
The #1 thing that I have discovered to manage the chronic pain from working a computer job is the workout program, Kore Kinect.
I’ve always been a pilates and yoga fan, but in the past year since my neck issues have arisen, I’ve completely changed my mindset from workout for aesthetic reasons, to pain-management reasons (this is honestly embarrassing to admit as a 25 year old, lol). BUT! Talk to me after your neck has been locked for days 😂
Anyways, this is a program that feels akin to physical therapy. Kourtney, the instructor, has decades worth of training and experience, and you can tell that she knows her stuff. I have learned more in the past year doing her workouts than in the 10+ years that I have been exercising.
I specifically love her “Posture Program,” as it targets the upper body issues that stem from sedentary living and the specific muscle imbalances that come with constant computer work.
