Young Fathers - Heavy Heavy (2023)

Ever heard of Young Fathers? This Edinburgh-based trio makes music that's almost impossible to put into a box — a fascinating mix of experimental hip-hop, soul, gospel, African rhythms and electronic sounds.

Their album Heavy Heavy (2023) is raw, joyful, sometimes chaotic, and bursting with energy. It's the kind of music that surprises you at every turn, yet somehow everything comes together beautifully (the one that gives me goosebumps).

Not exactly easy to describe. Much easier to fall in love with. Give it a listen!
