Take a break in a Bookstore in Paris

If you want a quiet time and amongst your favorite friends : books, take a stroll to a local independent bookstore (because there's not just Shakespeare & co in Paris...). We love these shops in France.

Here are some of my favorite :

• Ici Librairie, at Grands Boulevards. They have it all on 2 levels of pure joy

• Smith & son on Rivoli street. An independent English bookstore

• Librairie Petite Egypte in Montorgueil. A small and sweet bookstore, the staff have always been so sweet. They have a great selection for kids

If you want to bring a souvenir but you're not fluent : buy a french "BD = Bande Dessinée" (a graphic novel or a comic) or a classic french kid's book (I will recommend anything from the editor "L'École des Loisirs)
