Japanese gardens -- especially Kokedera in Kyoto.

Lately, as an almost psychologist, I’ve been interested in beauty and how it can help us access “anima mundi” (the soul of the world) or help us find a sense of nonordinary transcendence and connection. What’s something (eg song, place, piece of art, type of plant etc) that particularly does this for you?

I love moss, I always have. These gardens are one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been.
