I’m having the time of my life hiking in slovakia and it’s crazy that so many folks have no clue how gorgeous it is here! And so much cheaper than the alps! Took this pic yesterday on a spectacular day hike!

I’ve spent all my time up north + i’m heading to bratislava tomorrow! So far I went to Orava Castle which was stunning and amazing and very worth a detour! Then grab lunch at Thurzov mlyn. I loved makove sul’ance which are little dumplings with poppyseeds and sugar floating in a pool of butter. Truly soooooo yum😍 i’ve spent the rest of my time in Strba - the lake in the photo is Zelene Pleso which is gorgeous and there are lots of good hikes around there - I took a cable car to Skalnate Pleso then hiked around to Tantraska Lomnica. Koliba Zerucha has amazing slovak comfort food in Strba, otherwise the town is pretty tiny! I’ll update with bratislava reccos once I go! Have fun on your trip!
