michael finkel -- the art thief

Rachel

“The story of an art thief with a seeming addiction to illegally obtaining and hoarding beautiful objects. Wonderful reporting on the man behind the thief, his heists and how his world came crumbling down.”

““The Art Thief” is an incredibly told story written by Michael Finkel. This book details one of the largest art thefts in history as a couple stole over 200 works from different museums across Europe. It is a harrowing tale of love, betrayal, and obsession with art. This book encapsulated me as a lover of art can truly understand the thief’s perspective.”
