Recs for Thanksgiving Day in NYC that are family-friendly and unexpected? We’ll be there Tuesday-Friday and want some fun things to do on our last day when most things will close. We’ll have the parade and dinner sorted, but a decent few hours in between!

I highly recommend a ride on one of New York’s Ferry lines. It’s cheap. Delightful. Most have snack bars. You can bundle up and sit on the roof for a lovely view of the skyline and maybe go somewhere new!

The area around Brooklyn Bridge Park is awesome and very family friendly many playgrounds and good people watching. Stops are either Dumbo or Pier 6!
