Hal Ashby directs based on Jerzy Kosinski’s book. Peter Sellers stars as Chance, a blank slate of a man, who rises to the highest echelons of power in Washington. It’s funny, poignant and now seems incredibly prescient.

“Saw this at the Academy Museum last night, was completely charmed. Recommending both this movie and the David Geffen theater which is incredible. Great people watching too.”

“A surprisingly emotional movie about naive sincerity allowing others to project their ideas onto you, leading you to fall upwards to great heights.”
