Amélie, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (2001)

I’ve re-watched this movie more than any other movie. It’s the perfect movie for anyone who spends a lot of time in their own mind/world and could use a little reminder about how beautiful the world out there can be, through vignettes of encounters and intersections with other minds and worlds.

P.S. I am often able to find it available to view on flights (Air France, Japan Airlines, and probably other airlines too), which I think is a cozy setting to watch it or re-watch it.
