(Boring but) I have a list of gift ideas in my notes app
When I have an idea or see something for someone, I just add it to my notes app. People I buy gifts for often, like my kid or sister, I have a whole note for. I have a saved folder here for “gifts” for things I think certain loved ones would like. Then, when the time comes, I don’t feel pressure.
Also, if the inspiration strikes, I just gift it then and there.

“How do I love thee, Apple Notes? Let me count the ways. Pinned. Tagged. Smart-Foldered. Back-Linked. Synched. Shared. iClouded. The list goes on! I might have to teach a class for all my note-takers and list-makers on the many unsung features of this seemingly basic app!”

“Whoa. So Apple Notes can also act like a (cleaner, more aesthetic) Excel *and* a graphing calculator? Life changed.”

“This hasn't really been updated in over a year but is still very good. I still reference it from time to time. It's not the most well laid out guide and there's still a lot of TBD videos that the author never put in but they're easily found on google. Obviously best set up on a Mac or iPad + keyboard rather than just an iPhone.”
