Having a radio in your kitchen

Recommended by JDJ

I bought a vintage Sony stereo on eBay after seeing this rec. It’s such a vibe, and there’s something to be said about just hitting the power button and listening to music I didn’t have to choose.

This is a nostalgia moment for me because I grew up with NPR on at every hour, but I found an $8 radio at goodwill (that is the perfect matching blue to my nook!)! It sparks so much joy and I don’t have choice paralysis of what I should queue up next on the speakers. Shoutout Lakshmi Singh even when it’s bummer news hearing your sign off gives me peace 🫶
