Georgia O'Keeffe's Home Tour

A dream bucket list tour for me, I finally made this happen. One of my favorite artists, who’s had a lot of influence over my own work, this was maybe even a spiritual experience to be in her world.

She designed every detail of her home with intention. Not quite minimal, thoughtful and serene. Ask why the color of her bedroom walls are different than the rest of her home or about the dinner table design. And the rock altars! Some are piles, some are neatly ordered. 100% can relate, girl. And there’s a neighborhood cat that visits the garden, and the view and New Mexico.

Get tickets early, they book up fast! I did the evening tour, worth the price and travel. (You will recognize the hills in her paintings.) Shoutout to Josephine who so kindly put me on the waitlist and called with cancellations.🩵
