I’ve been writing the Department of Salad for 6 years. I usually publish 8 new recipes a month, and a subscription is $60 a year (I finally raised the price after 5 years). The recipes are new—not reruns from a book or a separate website. I think I may be an absurdly good bargain.  Or is this a workaholic business model? What’s a normal amount of original output?
