Thank you for the lovely and thought out response. The universe, I think, has both the greatest and cruelest timing. Some of this I've been able to do, some I'm still not able to (but is symptomatic of a larger depressive disorder, at least according to my psychiatrist and therapist). I started reading Megan Devine's It's OK That You're Not OK and she has the same advice as well, ESPECIALLY about her issues with the Stages-of-Grief modality.

Anytime! It’s the main population I work with and it’s a take it one day at a time scenario but tried to fill your tool belt with the best tools!

Recommendation for helping others in grief: be there, show up, bring food, start cleaning up for them, practical help when they feel frozen. Sitting with them in the discomfort even if you have nothing to say.
