Persephone

I feel drawn to her as someone with a Spring name/appearance and winter personality. I also feel drawn to the idea of alchemizing pain, rebirth and cycles of seasons as someone who has an 8th house stellium and is Saturn ruled. The idea of her giving death a more merciful face also resonates with me since I work primarily with grief and bereavement in my therapy practice and spent my childhood asking for the comics, obituaries and horoscopes in the paper. I love the old cartoon from the 1930’s that depicts this tale.
