Coloring stuff to slow down the over-consumption train

I love this person's idea of coloring in a page of (color-coordinated to the item you want to buy) squares to slow yourself down when deciding whether or not to buy a thing. He keeps all his colored in pages as it's own collection, whether or not he decides to purchase a given item. "The experience of collecting without owning"...what a concept!
