Use a pretty dishtowel as a placemat

I like finding the perfect table cloth, but I don't love immediately covering it with clunky looking placemats (or having to wash it every other day!). I realized I could just take a dish towel I liked and fold it in half and eat my lunch on my makeshift placemat. Doubles as a napkin. Can be folded up and used again if it stays clean. This feels like a thing everyone is probably already doing but I wasn't until it dawned on me so I thought it worth sharing!

Also, do you have a favorite pretty dish towel?
