Men's Half Socks

I love wearing sneakers but need to dress them up for work/trousers, evenings out, dresses, etc. I don’t love the no-show sock look on me, mid-calf socks seem like a good idea but fall down and are unflattering for my legs, and I find a lot of ‘ankle socks’ more gym class vibe than chic adult vibe. What short, warm socks do people love that tighten up a look without being doily or gym vibes?? 🎀🧦👟💅🏼
