I swore off social media when I had my kid. I didn’t want them to be exposed to it or to share their image through it. But that posed a problem for the grandparents who are voracious baby picture consumers. Enter Family Album - a privacy-focused app to keep your loved ones up to date on all things baby. I also love that you can disable screenshotting, I cackled when my mom whined that she couldn’t steal my pictures (and post them on the forbidden socials). Lastly, I’ve been ordering a book a month of my kid’s photos and it’s so fun to have this physical representation and image library we’re building up.

“Think private Facebook photo album you get notifications for. My niece and nephews live in the Netherlands and TX so it’s impossible to see them regularly. The entire extended family on both sides are part of a Family Album and it’s made it seem like we get watch them grow up with everyday photos! We essentially get the same daily pics that daycares send parents. My brother in laws are Dutch and P”
