I read this book like a novel and it changed the way I cook and how I stock my kitchen. The book is based on cooking with seasonal produce. He has three Six Seasons books and they’re all great, this one is the OG.

I love this book. (Although there are some editing errors where it references a page number to flip to for a dressing or whatnot that is completely incorrect so it can be a bit of a treasure hunt). The kale pasta in particular has become part of my regular rotation.
This is my go to wedding/hostess gift
Just dug it out from my pile of cookbooks, 'cos so many people can't be wrong. Thanks for the nudge

“This book is split into Spring, Early Summer, Midsummer, Late Summer, Fall, and Winter and each section highlights vegetables that are in season at that time with the best recipes for them. We looove cooking from it and could not recommend more highly.”

“This is the most important cookbook I own. Every recipe is great but its much more than just recipes. It teaches you how to think about vegetable forward food in a way that lets them star alongside any meat dish. If I was going to cook through any cookbook front to back, this would be it!”

“The absolute best cookbook for produce. haven’t found a clunker yet.”
