When Harry Met Sally (1989)

An absolute classic...for so many nostalgic reasons. And now even more poignant due to Rob Reiner's tragic death. I'm always fascinated by movies that are an instant, no-brainer, must-watch-again. They aren't just "great films". There are a ton of those, but I don't always stop whatever I'm doing at home to watch. I think it has to do with where we're "at" in life, what age we happened to be the first time we saw it that determines why it hits all the feels. Movies of the 80's get a lot of flak for being corny or too precious. Ah, maybe. But sometimes I NEED that escape. I need to laugh AND cry.
