Adding cuss words in Pinterest search to remove ads
I wish I could remember who the genius is that came up with this hack but I feel so free now that I know you can add any cuss word to your Pinterest search to remove all ads! I don’t know why it works but I also don’t care. Not sure if it gets rid of AI slop also but it might.

I had to google this, apparently adding a cuss word ie "fall decor sh*t" instead of "fall decor" will do it!
Well this is brilliant!
I know you explicitly said you "don't care" but from a technical standpoint I will explain it for everyone else. A cuss word such as f*** is what is called a "stop word" in search. It doesn't provide any information to the search, so the search engine ignores it.
Meanwhile, advertisers don't want to show up alongside content such as might be displayed by searching "f*** ** *****". So the Pinterest algorithm accidentally does both: strips it from the search, and filters out ads to protect advertisers.
They could fix it if enough people started doing it.
