The Grand Budapest Hotel

I love a Wes Anderson film, and this was the first one I've watched of his, which may be why it feels extra special. I also love a mystery plot line, which this delivers, and it also has one of my favorite quotes: “For my dearest darling, treasured, cherished Agatha, whom I worship. With respect, adoration, admiration, kisses, gratitude, best wishes, and love from Z to A.” I don't want a letter that doesn't show this much love now.

“It’s such a treat of a movie, and if you’re with it enough to follow the plot, one certainly exists. But if you’re at the level of sick where you’re dozing on and off, basically every scene is also beautiful and delightful in its own right, so you never feel like you missed much.”
