Literature Clock

A webpage that pulls snippets of novels that reference the time (right now the page shows a quote for 5:24 from Topsy-Turvy by Jules Verne). I refresh this throughout the day as a little treat.

This reminds me of The Clock by the artist Christian Marclay! He made a functional 24 hour clock with a montage of scenes from movies and tv shows that have clocks in them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Clock_(2010_f...

Do you know aClock then? https://www.aclock.live
@gtierk
I didn’t! I saw it when it was as at the LACMA. It’s cool that the video is publicly available now though!

@jenmonroe
Ooooh, thank you thank you thank you for this!
@andrewsea
Also reminds me of Matt Webb’s Poem1 clock, and of the aClock project which is a 24-hour homage to the Christian Marclay original https://www.aclock.live

“Once at MOMA NYC I saw a physical clock displaying this website. But we all can have it on a device-- revelation! Thanks @Very Carrie and @Zoe B”
