Lil Bub (R.I.P.)

I feel like the early 2010s was the Golden Age of Instagram-famous pets. I truly loved Lil Bub (I actually met her twice at different CatCons in LA). That cat overcame so many serious health challenges, and as I was navigating my own struggles during that time I felt like, “Well if Lil Bub doesn’t know anything else except to move forward, then I will do the same.” I know, I know. It’s a derpy cat that I’m projecting a lot onto. But she really brought me a lot of joy, and I was just one of many.
