Vitamin C serums disappoint for lots of reasons (short shelf life, smell like turkey lunch meat, sticky). Yes, this one is sticky, but the smell is tolerable and the mix-it-yourself formulation makes it feel like a better investment. Plus no constant exposure to the elements like the Very Famous One.

“gets the glowing goods! it has a very bioavailable form of vitamin c, but it’s also a very unstable form - hence the opaque packaging and mix-it-yourself bottle. kind of a dry oil feel, one pump am is enough for face. to be fair, it’s the most expensive vitamin c i’ve used, and after i finish this bottle i’m going to try the trader joe’s vitamin c serum but i’ll be comparing the results to this.”
