Keeping a detailed digital database of recipes

Carrie and I have been using Airtable for this for the last 8 years. We have close to 200 recipes saved. We can only save the recipe once we have made it - so no wishful thinking, only tried and true dishes, usually with a note when/where we made it.

I was going to make a specific salad this weekend for meeting my sister’s new boyfriend, only to read in the notes that I had made that exact salad for meeting her ex in 2023. Out of an abundance of caution, I pivoted and made a different salad 😂
