First day of school traditions: We are good about traditions in our house, but I want to add something relatively low lift to mark the first day of school. What should we do? (We do the little sign/photo, but I'm thinking a special meal or something else.)

The night before school I bought some cupcakes, lit some candles, and sang “happy kindergarten to you!” I bought an extra one so that she could also have one after coming home from the first day. She was happily surprised when they were brought to the table. 🧁
