Requests from Steven Weill

What 'ordinary' object, space, or system do you think deserves a full cultural autopsy? I recently launched Enter Fugue, a Substack (link via substack icon on my page) about how psychology & philosophy influence design and vice versa. Would love to hear what comes to mind when considering the above question, design choices that have changed behavior or accepted parts of modern life that feel absurd. All opinions welcome!!

✨🌞🌛 Astrological Gift Guides 🌜🌞✨ Hit me with a friend's, loved one's, coworker's, pet's or your own big three (sun, moon & rising) in the replies, along with any supporting info re: the gift receiver (reason for gift, age, gender identity, off limits items/categories, budget, their location, literally anything else that you think would be beneficial information for me to have) and I will give you at least FIVE thoughtful gift recommendations. Results will be posted to a collection behind a $5 paywall (first ten gift guides will be free!), where you will be able to see all future astro gift guides. ***If you would prefer to have your gift guide remain private*** I get it. Just DM me your answers on IG (linked to my page) and we'll take it from there.

✨🌞🌛 🚨 Big Three Recs Last Call 🚨 🌜🌞✨ Before wrapping this project and moving on to another, taking any last big three rec requests. Hit me with your (or a loved one's) big three (sun, moon & rising signs) in the replies and I'll recommend two books, two films and two albums for your unique combo. Access to your recs and the (currently) 103 other combo recs are in a collection behind a $5 paywall. If I rec any books you've read, films you've seen or albums you've listened to, I'll replace them with a fresh one.

✨🌞🌛 Crowd Sourcing a Collection 🌜🌞✨ Hit me with your big three (sun, moon & rising) in the replies and I'll add a book, album & film recommendation for your unique combo into a new collection once I receive at least 10 replies. Bonus — roll the dice on the ~.06% chance you'll have an exact match in the replies. Maybe I'll make some friend suggestions based on charts too who knows.
