This vaguely steampunk watch doesn't look like much at first. Created as the third installment of Harry Winston’s famed Opus series in 2003, the dial sought to implement a jumping seconds indicator to go along with the 'digital' time display. The complications required behind the scenes here are absolutely mind blowing. Do a little googling to get your horological juices flowing.

Watches aren’t really my thing but this one is fascinating!

Same! And agreed! I really can't stand wearing one for more than a few hours, 99% of the culture around them repulses me but the more I learn/see re: external and internal design, the more interested I am. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) the ones I am particularly interested in are so far beyond the realm of feasibility cost/availability wise that it'll never become 'my thing'.
