A beautifully renovated unit in one of Midtown's most significant buildings, that just happens to be less than a full block from Central Park. 24-hour doorman, fitness center, roof deck, bike room, central laundry, and live-in resident manager — the apartment has the highest end finishes, is well priced (with a super high monthly that, honestly and contextually makes perfect sense) but I'd have a hard time ever leaving that stunning communal stairwell.

It was long ago, but let’s see. Very near Carnegie hall, walkable in every direction, lots of artists and writers lived there then.

Sounds nice! I’ve always loved the unexpected juxtapositions in NYC where you least expect them. A welcoming, historic building in a nook of the city most associate with mega towers and luxury hotels.

I know! It was before all of the towers, there was the Russian Tea Room, Carnegie Deli and loads of galleries. The only thing that is constant about nyc is that it’s always going to change.
