Mh Zh was too good for this world. The menu was written daily on a piece of kraft paper with fun misspellings, doodles and the BRILLIANT option to 'Fire The Menu' which I managed to resist doing maybe once or twice out of the million times I sat on one of those sidewalk milk crates for a wood fired meal.
The head chef moved to OC and opened the pretty great Mayfield but it's obviously not the same and more importantly, it's in Orange County.
I check the Mh Zh instagram page every once in a while, fully delusional — thinking I'll see some news about a reopening.

This is the one I had in mind!!! I do the same with their instagram page. I still think about their hummus. ugh and the whole roasted cauliflower. god i loved that place.

oh yeah I saw that place was "temporarily" closed last time I drove by. seems like nothing will stick in that location since Mh Zh!
