Owners of a 70+ father rise UP…looking for birthday gift recs for my dad who “doesn’t want anything and doesn’t need anything” (🤪). Like a classic dad, he loves world history, loves a comfortable chair, LL BEAN, slippers, birding, and fixing things. He lives in Maine and loves type 2 fun, but not THAT much because he’s (his words) “getting old”. He’s about to go on a road trip out west in US with brother…any ideas for a nice birthday gift or road trip gift? 🤟

An Aura frame! I used to think electronic photo frames were cheesy. But my parents and in-laws LOVE theirs. The Aura looks gorgeous, the photo quality is great and even the unboxing is impressive. You can upload photos and videos from an easy-to-use app. Since my father passed away, my mother says she loves watching the frame while having morning tea.

“A lot of emotional bang for one's buck with this gift. Gave to my 88-year-old Mom this past Christmas, as it was our first without my dad. Filled it to the brim with family favorites on rotation (wow, we have a lot of SF Giants pix) and keep adding to it from afar by texting pix from my phone to the frame.
