second this, and using it on a desktop is even worse (better). Scrolling through stories on a desktop makes you realize how uninteresting most of the content is.

I third this! It’s just hard enough that I get frustrated and annoyed instead of feeling that gratification. I treat it like an encyclopedia of my friends. If I want to see their kids or dogs or work, I go search for them. But scrolling is so annoying that I genuinely just bypass it.

Yes!!! I did this for a year! Then I was able to delete the app completely from my life January 2025. 👋

Yupppppp! I do this with Rec League too. Just keep alllll the apps off my phone and check my websites when I want to log on.

I do this for Insta too! It’s so much less engaging, and I feel like there are fewer ads.

Yes!!!! I’ve also found on my web browser it inexplicably blows out the images so even if I’m digging the scroll it’s overall a worse experience visually (better for me)
