We just bought one of these and learned it can also be used to grate/smoosh tomato in order to make Spanish style tomato bread!

Wait for it. . . I just talked to Ceramics Espana, and the response was go great to this post they just might carry the larger size soon, which is even better for making tomate! (P.S. If you’re in the LA area, it’s worth the trip to La Espanola for Pan Cristal, the traditional bread used for Pan Con Tomate.)
