At-home iced coffee recs! I’m trying to curb my cafe habit and am already loaded up on tools at home (Toddy ✔️). What beans/tools/subscriptions make it easy for you to want to make caffe/lattes at home?

Question

Jules · Answer

bustelo: cheap. fast. really good.

Sarah Cooney · Answer

Fabula Coffee Organic Cold Brew: Very much enjoying this coffee!

Nat · Answer

Costco ground coffee: Here's the tea: one of the best things about the Toddy cold press system is that the brew process makes every coffee less acidic, less bitter and more smooth. So you don't have to worry about using high quality grounds. I've been making cold brew at home for two decades. Cheers!

Rob · Answer

Trade Coffee: Amazing coffee subscription personalized to your taste prefs. They have enough variety that we get a same/similar bag ~once a year.

Joe · Answer

Cometeer Coffee is Delicious: Frozen coffee extracts delivered to your door. It’s so good, y’all. I don’t buy coffee from cafes anymore because I have better coffee at home.

Protip, when heating water, leave it cooler than you would when making tea or a pour over, so you can more easily taste what is going on.

Biggest downside is that I have to think of something else to buy when I want to hang around in a cafe.
