Tivoli Gardens Copenhagen

Technically a theme park, but more of a scandi fairy tale dreamscape. I drank cider under warm electric lights, walked through the Hans Christian Anderson exhibit, and made friends with a local artist who let me take home a signed print. Go at night.

“Just a beautiful throwback of a place. Particularly great for children, but worth it even for adults.”

“A truly magical place. Pictures don’t do it justice. I read that it was the inspiration behind Disneyland.”
