American Movie (1999)

Meaghan

“This documentary is a TREASURE. Set in Wisconsin it follows a seriously passionate indie filmmaker named Mark Borchardt as he works on completing his horror film Coven (or “coe-ven” as he pronounces it throughout). The best writers in the biz couldn’t write characters like those you meet in this doc. Hilarious, heartfelt, endearing. 10/10”

Lucy Propper

“All time favorite. Touching and inspiring and heartwarming and devastating(?) in the best way.”

Lauren

“It’s one of my favorite movies and inspired me to become a documentary filmmaker.”
