They germinate well, make for jolly little seedlings and really demystified the whole dahlia thing for me, as I hadn’t grown them before and was intimidated. The ones pictured are all “Bishop’s Children” hitting their early fall weird stage, but still making moves. They bloom in a charming mix: everything from true red to velvet magenta to a burnished clementine orange. Non-dinner plate dahlia forms are slept-on, imo.
