USM x Armando Cabral NKYINKYIM A CASA

Industrial meets textural craft. This is the result of a very cool collaboration between shoe designer Armando Cabral and modular steel systems designer, USM.

The collection spans 8 pieces, including a love seat, bookcase, daybed and credenza, and includes two textile programs from Cabral’s dual heritage. First,hand-loomed wool blankets originally used by shepherds in Portugal and also a woven cloth from Gineau-Bissau that include motifs of protection and community.

I think these pieces are so beautiful and I love the marriage of rigid and soft. The colors are incredible too.
