a watercolor workbook that's as easy as paint by numbers

the watercolor artist Emily Lex makes these wonderful workbooks where she has already stencilled the image, and you mix and paint over it using your own watercolors.

this is one of my favorite ways to wind down after looking after my toddler all day. i pour a glass of wine, put on a podcast or audiobook, and paint for an hour.

once you're done, you can tear them out and frame them for you kid's room too :)
