the only boot for a nyc winter

i've lived in nyc for 7 years now, and there is nothing i love more than a SENSIBLE boot.

the grey slush you have to leap over when crossing the road, the icy sidewalks, the endless subway stairs, mean that you need a boot that:

a) is comfy for walking 20k steps a day

b) is waterproof

c) has a lug sole so you don't slip and die

these rag & bone boots are pretty much the only ones that check every box.
