Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker

Despite being an experienced cook, I am LOUSY at making rice on the stove. This machine takes away all my rice worries, makes perfect steel cut oatmeal (with a timer feature for easy mornings), makes the fluffiest quinoa ever, and I also do this fun little “fiber rice” mix with short grain rice, lentils and edamame. Sometimes I add little veg cuts with the edamame (when there’s about 20 minutes to go). Life changing appliance for me personally!!

“My Korean MIL gave this the side eye and asked why we didn't have a Cuckoo. Does a Cuckoo have FUZZY LOGIC? No. We have had this rice cooker for over 25 years and it still makes perfect rice every time. We take it on trips with us, as no other cooker can be trusted. (It has a handle!) This is our exact model and when it dies (if ever?) I will get the exact same one again.”
